New! Workforce Statistics

New workforce figures are now available. Internet subscribers can now access Local Government Earnings data collected by the Local Government Association (LGA) by clicking here. This replaces the CIPFALocal Authority Workforce survey, which ceased in 2006. The release makes available local authority level data on wages by job posts, gender and full-time/part-time status.

Furthermore, LGA and CIPFA have released a suite of profiles detailing FTE figures across various service areas. Click here for more details.
